Challenge
Houston Dash finished dead last in the NWSL in 2024. Ownership needed a leader to step in during executive transition, stabilize sporting operations, and rebuild for performance — while a new permanent leadership team was being identified.
Our Role
- Served as Interim GM and Head of Soccer Operations from 2024 through April 2025
- Negotiated the sale of Tarciane Karen dos Santos to Olympique Lyonnais — the second-highest transfer fee in the history of global women's football at the time
- Identified and recommended Angela Hucles Mangano as President and Fabrice Gautrat as Head Coach, both joining in January 2025
- Rebuilt sporting infrastructure, recruitment, and roster planning
- Transitioned to a continuing sporting advisor role in April 2025 after a structured handoff to permanent leadership

Challenge
Dennis Chin, owner of the boutique soccer agency Chyn, was approached by Young Money APAA Sports — a leading global sports agency without a soccer arm — about acquiring his agency to enter the soccer space. The transaction needed to deliver value to Dennis as the owner while positioning him for a leadership role within the acquiring company.
Our Role
- Advised Dennis through the three-month acquisition process from initial conversations to closing
- Provided strategic counsel on deal structure, valuation, and integration considerations
- Continued advisory support post-close as Dennis transitioned into his role as President of Global Soccer at Young Money APAA Sports

- Successful sale of Chyn to Young Money APAA Sports
- Dennis appointed President of Global Soccer at the acquiring agency
